A father has described the “proud moment” his children asked him to pull over the car so they could get out and help a wheelchair-user shovel snow off a sidewalk.
Wisconsin resident Daniel Medina posted an account of the random act of kindness to Facebook.
It was re-shared to the Love What Matters Facebook page the following day, where it has since received tens of thousands of reactions and thousands of shares.
“Proud dad moment. We’re driving down South 60th Street near Morgan (Avenue) and my two sons aged 10 and six asked me to pull over because they just saw a guy in a wheelchair trying to shovel his corner lot and they wanted to help,” the post reads.
The post was accompanied by a photo of Mr Medina’s two sons shovelling show off a sidewalk while a man in a wheelchair works away behind them.
Mr Medina has since responded to the hundreds of Facebook users thanking them for praising both his sons and their upbringing.
