Bioluminescent dolphins

We often seek God for the big things. Help heal me. Where should I move? What job should I take? But it’s in the small thing, the wonder of God’s interconnected creation, that is most Awesome to me.

This might be the most beautiful thing I’ve seen in a long time: It’s dolphins seemingly glowing in the dark. The real reason behind it is bioluminescence, or the result of millions of tiny organisms emitting light in large bodies of water. Movement helps bring out this light, and when these dolphins started bounding and leaping in Mexico’s Sea of Cortez, the light play that resulted was incredible.

Awesome!
